Circumcision & Sex Life

How Getting Circumcised as an Adult Affects Your Sex Life

The heated debate around whether or not circumcision is necessary hinges on two arguments. There is the case for health, which says that circumcision appears to slightly reduce the risk of penile cancer as well as HIV and sexually transmitted infections. Then there is the case for sexual pleasure, which says that removing the foreskin might augment penile function and sensation.

But how does circumcision really affect your sex life?

The glans or the top of penis has the most nerve endings of any part of the penis. And the skin on the head of the penis does become thicker after circumcision due to increased friction.
Circumcised penis feels more sensitive. Now there is more feeling of the vagina during intercourse, instead of the foreskin sliding back and forth over the head.
For some men, circumcision actually reduces pain and increases pleasure during sex. Patients with a condition known as Phimosis, where tight foreskin cant retract over the penis, before the surgery, sex was increasingly painful. After circumcision, sex was pleasurable again.
Sex has been wonderful, both in terms of sensation and not worrying in the back of my mind that I could experience pain or discomfort."
Most men who are over 50 get circumcised mostly to fix a condition called Balanitis, or inflammation of the head of the penis that scars foreskin so it cant retract. Younger men most often come because they are self-conscious about having a foreskin. They think looking more normal with a circumcised penis would give them more self-confidence.

TIGHT FRENULUM (FRENULUM BREVE)
The frenulum is the small sheet of skin underneath the glans (head) of the penis, which joins the glans to the foreskin. It is the most sensitive part of the penis and removal of frenulum reduces the hypersensitive during sexual intercourse and prevents early ejaculation and allows prolong satisfying sexual intercourse. Removal of frenulum is to strengthen and gain length in the penis size. Overall aesthetic look of the penis without frenulum is much more improve as shown by all the blue film actors.

If the frenulum is too short on the erect penis, it does not allow the foreskin to slide forward and causes pain. During intercourse, this can happen and as a result the tight frenulum will often rip and bleed. In the event, immediate pressure must be applied to the area and urgent medical attention is required.

Short frenulum is common and is seen in 5% of uncircumcised men between 15 and 30 year of age. Some men may go through their entire life suffering from pain and bleeding without knowing that they have this problem.
Treatment is usually by a simple surgical correction.

A very thin and tight frenulum can be released with surgical Laser treatment under local anaesthesia. No stitching is required.

FRENULUM SURGERY
A thicker and tighter frenulum will require a frenuloplasty surgery.

Frenuloplasty.
We perform this is simple procedure with Laser under local anaesthesia.
The patient can return to work next day.
